It had been a while since my last fitness shoot, so I was glad when Charlie got in touch. I’ve photographed her several times before. She needed fresh, bright images for her social media, Facebook and Instagram, and for her website. Our shoots are always full of laughter, whether we’re in the studio or out finding locations. This time we chose the studio, going for a light, airy feel with a clean, minimal look.
We used a plain white background and kept props to a minimum, so the focus stayed on Charlie rather than anything around her. That suits a personal branding shoot, where the whole set of images matters rather than one single frame, as you’d get with a headshot or portrait.
The photos needed to look genuinely professional. What a business puts out on social media says a lot about it, and consistent, good-quality imagery is one of the clearest ways to stand apart from the competition. That counts for even more when you’re promoting yourself, because people remember a strong image.
Social media carries real weight, but it takes proper effort to use it well. Phones make taking a photo easy, which is partly why so much of what gets posted looks flat. Businesses are always looking for ways to lift their visual content, because when someone’s ready to buy, you want your brand and your products fresh in their mind.
Personal branding shoots are priced at £90 per hour, and I also offer half-day and full-day packages for longer sessions. If you’ve any questions, or you’d like to arrange a shoot, do get in touch.
As always, if you have any questions or would like to book a session, please get in touch.
