Sausage Dog Photographer
I am a specialist sausage dog photographer based in Suffolk. My studio at Rendlesham is set up for proper portrait sessions, professional lighting, a calm environment, and enough time to get the images right.
Dachshunds are a particular passion. I photograph them properly, the same way I would approach any portrait, with attention to light, expression, and character. The results are images worth putting on a wall, not just on a phone screen.
A proper studio session for your dog
In the studio
Sessions take place in my photography studio at Rendlesham, near Woodbridge. The space is quiet and relaxed, not a busy commercial environment. Free parking outside means a calm arrival for you and your dog.
Photographed properly
Professional studio lighting, a range of backdrops, and enough time to let your dog settle. I work at the dog’s pace, there is no rushing through it. The goal is natural expressions, not posed awkwardness.
Images you can use
You choose your favourite images from a private online gallery. Each one is fully edited and delivered as a high-resolution digital file, 4,000 pixels on the longest side, ready for printing up to A3 or sharing however you like.

Sausage dogs are a specific subject
Dachshunds are low to the ground, long, and not always inclined to cooperate. They have strong personalities and tend to move in the opposite direction to the one you want. Photographing them well takes a particular kind of patience and a studio set up with them in mind.
The Sausage Dog Photographer is a dedicated sub-brand built around this specific breed. It is the same studio, the same photographer, and the same quality of work, just with a sharper focus on one subject.
