Wedding Photographer in Suffolk

I photograph weddings and civil partnerships across Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex. My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive. I cover the day as it happens, from the morning preparations, if you want them, through to the first dance.

How I photograph a wedding

Most of a wedding day is not posed, and I do not try to make it posed. I work quietly around the day and watch for the moments in between the big ones. Those are often the pictures that matter most afterwards.

The formal photographs matter too. Group shots and portraits of the two of you are planned at the pre-wedding meeting, along with the rest of the schedule, so everyone knows what is happening and when.

Choosing your coverage

Packages run from the ceremony and afternoon celebrations only, through to the whole day from morning preparations to the evening and first dance. The longer packages include a coffee table book of the day, and one adds an engagement shoot beforehand.

How it works

  1. BookingFill in the booking form, or ring me on 07884 366342 if you would rather talk it through first. You will get a confirmation email once the form is in.
  2. First meetingWe meet early on, over a coffee somewhere local, at yours, or on a video call if that is easier. It is a chance to ask questions and get a feel for how I work.
  3. Pre-wedding meetingTwo to three weeks before the day, we go through the final details and make sure the schedule is sorted.
  4. The weddingI arrive at the time and place we agreed and cover the day as planned.
  5. Your photographsFive to six weeks after the wedding, you get a private, password-protected online gallery to look through and share with family, and a USB drive with your images.

Engagement shoots

I always recommend one. Most people feel self-conscious in front of a camera at first, which is completely normal. A relaxed shoot before the wedding takes the edge off, so by the day itself you have already been through it once with me, and it shows in the pictures.

What you receive

Every package includes at least 400 edited, high-resolution images with a personal licence, so you can print and share them as you like. They come on a USB drive, along with copies resized for social media.

If you would like prints, wall art or a hand-made fine art album, I can arrange them, with no obligation to buy anything. Albums can be ordered up to a year after the wedding, which gives you time to choose your favourite pictures.

Armed Forces discount

As an ex-serviceman, I offer 10% off to anyone currently serving in His Majesty's Armed Forces. It applies whichever partner is serving.
