About me
Bob Foyers Commercial Portrait Photographer
I developed a passion for photography when I was 14 years old and my school added a darkroom to its art department. I was allowed to use the darkroom with some basic instruction and minimal supervision, which sparked my creative freedom and fueled my interest in photography. Encouraged by my newfound passion, my parents invested in my hobby by purchasing my first proper camera and building a darkroom at home for me. I spent most of my time either taking photos or processing the results in my darkroom.
Before becoming a professional photographer, I had a career as a chef and served in the Royal Navy, where I travelled extensively. After leaving the Armed Forces, I continued my career in the culinary industry while also maintaining my love of photography as a hobby. However, as my portfolio of subjects and clients grew, my passion for photography eventually became my primary profession
I am truly passionate about my work as a photographer and feel grateful that I get to do what I love every day. My subjects often tell me that this enthusiasm is reflected in my style and the resulting images.
Please have a look at my portfolios, and for my very latest work and a look behind the scenes, check out my regularly updated blog. I really hope that you like what you see. Don’t hesitate to get in touch for an informal, free consultation. I’d love to hear about your plans and to see whether I can help capture the style of images that you are seeking for a lasting memory of your special occasion.
