Product Photography
Product photography in Suffolk
Product photography made in my studio for packaging, listings, advertising and press. Bottles, cans, jars, engineered components and food, shot on controlled backgrounds so the product is the only thing doing any work.
Why product work is its own discipline
Glass reflects everything in the room, including the photographer. Labels have to stay readable and the right colour. A range of products has to look like a range, which means the lighting has to repeat exactly across every item, not just look good on the best one. That is most of the job, and it is why product work takes longer per frame than people expect.
What I photograph
Packaging and bottles for retail and online listings. Food, where the shot usually has a short window. Engineered and manufactured parts, where the detail is the whole point. Sets of products that need to sit together on one page without looking like they were shot on different days.
Talking it through first
Every enquiry gives you the option of a call before you commit to anything. It helps to know where the images are going, because a listing thumbnail and a printed advert want very different files. You can book a free call, send a WhatsApp message or ring me.
What product photography costs
Product photography pricing is set out on its own page.
Common questions
How much does product photography cost?
From £150. The product pricing page has the detail.
Why is product work done in the studio?
The lighting has to repeat exactly across a whole range, and that needs a space where nothing changes between shots.
Is there parking for bringing products in?
Yes, free parking directly outside, and there are two steps down into the studio.
