I have worked with many lovely clients over the years, and my recent portrait shoot with Annie and Lucy stands out as one of the most rewarding.
Annie and Lucy are a wonderful couple, and it was a joy to capture their connection in a series of classical studio portraits. Love is love, and I was glad of the chance to make timeless images that show the warmth and care between them.
At Foyers Photography I specialise in portraits and headshots. My studio at Bentwaters near Ipswich is a comfortable, welcoming space where people can relax and be themselves while we work towards the right shots.
For this session we focused on classical studio lighting to create an elegant, timeless look. We started with traditional posed shots, using soft, diffused light to bring out the couple’s natural warmth and the emotion in their expressions.
We also worked in some relaxed, candid poses, catching Annie and Lucy laughing and chatting as they enjoyed each other’s company. Those frames really show the connection between them, and I think they will be treasured for years.
Alongside the posed portraits we tried a few more creative compositions, using props and backdrops to add depth and interest. Playing with lighting and framing gave us some genuinely unique images.
Portraits have a quiet power to preserve special moments, whether it is a family, a couple, or a headshot for a business. Annie and Lucy were a pleasure to work with, and I am delighted to have captured their love in such a lasting way.
