Social media is one of the most useful tools a small business has for reaching new customers and showing people what you do. Chantel, a Suffolk-based personal fitness coach, understands that better than most, and she came to me for a set of photographs to use across her platforms.
A mother of two, Chantel is passionate about making exercise accessible to everyone. With a range of specialist qualifications, she works safely with all sorts of clients and sets a positive, healthy example for them to follow. Good photographs help her put that across before a new client has even met her.
I run Foyers Photography from my studio at Bentwaters near Ipswich, where I specialise in portraits and headshots. For Chantel, the aim was a library of high-quality images she could post regularly, keeping her feed fresh and her business looking professional.
Strong photos do a lot of quiet work on social media. They draw people in, they show the person behind the business, and they help a small business stand out in a crowded feed. Posting consistently and replying to comments builds a sense of community, and a proper set of images makes that far easier to keep up.
This kind of personal branding photography is one of my favourite things to shoot. It gave Chantel plenty to work with, and it gave her followers a real sense of who she is and how she can help them.
