Maria Callisto Lingerie

It was a pleasure to recently photograph Maria Callisto, a fantastic and incredibly talented designer and maker of ladies lingerie. Along with her model, we had a very productive shoot and we got some great product shots as well as some images to use throughout Maria’s social media accounts for advertising and promotions. Maria’s bespoke lingerie is of top quality and is extra special in that it can not be found elsewhere. 

Due to the nature of this shoot, it was imperative that all images could be used throughout Maria’s social media accounts due to strict censorship rules and regulations. Without following these guidelines the outcome of the shoot would not have been fit for purpose. Despite having to follow such regulations we had great fun in the studio, and I hope to work with Maria again in the future. 

Maria was insistent that all photos taken were to follow a common theme for continuity reasons and so it was important to keep to this brief and make sure the images correspond to one another. We kept the background fresh and light, with just a plant and chair as props. This allowed Maria’s stunning creations to come to life and the focus is solely on herself and the product. With subtle changes in movement from the models we were able to get some great shots, whilst keeping the atmosphere relaxed yet professional. Again, due to the nature of this shoot, I was very aware of making sure the models felt comfortable, so I came into the studio early to turn the heating up and made it clear that we could stop and start as they wished – they were in charge. The result was a set of great images that I hope Maria is happy to use to promote her brand.
