Hello there! I’m Bob Foyers, a professional photographer based in Bentwaters, Woodbridge, Suffolk. Today, I’d like to take a moment to share with you a recent shoot I did for the Southwold Flower Company. This was a special project for me, as I got to capture the beauty and essence of a local business that provides fresh, seasonal blooms to the community.
The Southwold Flower Company is owned by Liz and Roger, a lovely couple who have a passion for growing and providing the freshest flowers to the people of Southwold. The company offers a wide range of services, including flowers for weddings, gift bouquets, an online postal service, and sympathy flowers. They have a beautiful and unique flower barn shop filled with flowers and gifts, and from June to October, they open their field for pick-your-own-flowers.
The shoot took place on location at Wangford Rd, Reydon, Southwold. I chose to shoot at dusk, using flash to enhance the photographs and bring out the colours and textures of the flowers. The result was stunning, with the warm glow of the flash illuminating the blooms and giving them a magical feel.
Liz and Roger needed these images to promote their business online and on social media, and I was happy to help. They were a great couple to work for and made the shoot a fun and enjoyable experience. I was so impressed by their passion for growing and providing the freshest flowers to the people of Southwold, and I wanted to capture that in my photographs.
