Isabelle and I decided that we should do an Autumnal themed shoot. We originally wanted to do the shoot in the woods, but the weather has not been good recently, so we changed our plans and brought the woods into the studio. Fortunately, Tunstal woods is only down the road from my studio here at Bentwaters. We gathered up lots of ferns and brought them back to the studio. Once we had set the stage, we added a simple lighting set up with one light: a large deep para, to give soft but controlled light. Whilst dismantling the set we found a little snail so we took the opportunity to get a close up of Isabelle’s face and the snail.
