As we whizz through February demand for headshots is rising, perhaps people made it their new year’s resolution to update their socials for a more professional look! I recently met Fi when she took part in a bridal makeup shoot, and she mentioned she was after some new headshots for her LinkedIn profile. Fi works in Ipswich through the week so coming to the studio was ideal for her, and not too out of the way. Being less than 15 miles from Ipswich and situated close to nearby Aldeburgh to the north and Felixstowe to the south I am perfectly situated in the heart of Suffolk. Using my online booking form Fi booked herself in a couple of weeks later and we got to work!
Fi was already quite comfortable in front of the camera, but I still completely understand that having a camera pointed at you can be quite daunting. I therefore always try to relax my clients and provide them with a series of poses that help them to relax in front of the camera. For headshots, these poses are very simple and include a face on pose and side angle.
Good quality headshots are the perfect way to promote you and your business. Not only do they make you look more authentic but they scream professionalism, and in this day and age that is of the utmost importance. Potential clients will take you more seriously with good quality images on your side and of course, this leads to more business.
I really enjoyed my time with Fi and look forward to working with her again soon. Whilst I always enjoy individual headshots if you are part of a larger organisation I am happy to arrange a corporate rate with you. For further advice or to book please feel free to contact me.
