Shannon came to my studio at Bentwaters, near Ipswich, for a classical portrait shoot. She works as a firefighter, and that quiet strength and determination came through in every frame.
I used Rembrandt lighting for a timeless look and worked through a few setups to find Shannon’s best angles. The studio is a relaxed place to be, so she soon settled in front of the camera, and we came away with a set of natural, classic portraits.
A model portfolio shoot is a good chance to learn how to pose and present yourself on camera, a genuinely useful skill in the industry. It also gives you a strong set of images to grow a social media following and show potential clients what you can do.
These portraits are a valuable addition to Shannon’s folio, and I hope they open a few doors for her. If you would like to see how a session like this comes together, take a look at my portrait sessions.
