I was commissioned to photograph Rookery Park Golf Club, on Beccles Road, Carlton Colville, Lowestoft. Designed by Mr C D Lawrie, the course runs to a challenging 6714 yards off the competition tees at par 72, with four par 5’s and four par 3’s, so every hole asks something different.
The club wanted a set of high-quality images for their website and social profiles, with a focus on capturing each tee. Showing the course at its best meant waiting a few days for clear, sunny weather. Once the conditions were right, I set off round the course in a golf buggy and photographed the layout hole by hole.
The result is a collection of images that highlight the features and challenges of each hole, images that should tempt golfers to come and play it for themselves.
