A few weeks ago I was honoured to play my part in the Southwold sausage dog walk. Organised by Laura, her mum Sarah and friend Stuart, the event has run for a number of years, though like everything else it was put on hold through the pandemic. The turnout was huge, with over 600 sausage dogs taking part. I love event photography. It’s always good fun to meet so many new people in one place, and the addition of these cute pups makes it all the more worthwhile. The team do a fantastic job and should be very proud. So much goes on behind the scenes to pull it together, including the start of their partnership with Naturediet. I’m looking forward to the next walk in December, though the weather may not be quite so kind.
Ever the gracious lady she is, Laura says a big thank you to the following:
@stuartmcburney for making these walks as huge as they have become. @djcarlosuk for showing up on his day off every single time and smashing out some absolute bangers on the decks. @sez1970 for not doing a lot and standing in the stix queue for almost 2 hours. Isabel and Kay for running the cake stall. @leahlouisefloralartistry and Chris for running the raffle. Every company that donated a raffle prize. Mac and Es for walking around with those charity buckets. Nigel at @combat2coffee for being a hero and providing everyone with delicious coffee. Stephen for bringing his burger and doughnut van and keeping us all fed. @naturedietpets and the lovely Skinner family, @georgie.skinner and @benskinner07, for sponsoring and supporting our walk; the goody bags and inflatable absolutely made the day. Our fabulous photographers @foyers.photography, @memescenequeen and @kerri_salter for snapping some fantastic shots. The stallholders, we hope you had a really successful day.
