Most of us know how important social media is for promoting our businesses. It can be a really great tool for getting the word out there about new promotions or products, or can even be used to build your brand trust.
No matter what type of business you operate, good photography can work wonders for helping give your business social media profiles a professional image.
While some businesses might opt to use free stock imagery for creating content online, it can only get you so far. You might run out of stock imagery that resonates most with your brand, or customers might recognise that the people in the images aren’t from your team. It can often be obvious to customers that you are using stock imagery if such images are being reused by thousands of others across the internet.
Other businesses might choose to take the images themselves, but without appropriate equipment and lighting, you run the risk of the images looking unprofessional.
That’s where professional social media photography comes in.
I recently worked with Charlie Holmes Fitness to help bring their social media photography ideas to life.
Charlie Holmes Fitness (CHFIT) is a new personal training business based in Aldeburgh, Suffolk.
Charlie was looking for some professional fitness lifestyle shots to use on her Instagram account to promote her fitness classes and PT sessions around the Suffolk area.
Each of my social media photography sessions run for four hours, with plenty of time to capture enough images to use for at least an image per day for a month.
For this shoot, it seemed fitting to take photos of Charlie in an outdoor setting since many fitness activities have been moved outside during the last year.
We took a gallery of photos of Charlie wearing her business uniform, some of which are portraits of Charlie and others are more fitness related, such as running shots.
If you’re looking for social media photography like this, I can help bring your ideas to life.
Whether that’s shooting models wearing your clothing in a styled setting, or some office-based photos of your team at work.
One of the great things about choosing a social media photography service is that you can build up a folder of images that you can use on your social media channels for a whole month ahead.
Whether you want to post them as they are, or edit them to include text or promotional offers- a stock of social media photographs can be used as you please.
Once the shoot has taken place, your social media imagery is sent to you as a download link, and I keep copies so you can ask again any time. You’ll find that there are plenty of photos to give your Instagram or Facebook feed a consistent and cohesive look, and to get you started on your journey to social media marketing success!
