Lament in Velvet

Two people, one lying across the other’s lap, velvet everywhere, and a bare wig stand behind them. The wig stand is doing the work. Whatever they wear to be seen in public is not on in this frame, and neither of them is performing for anyone. The tiredness in it is real.
