Authenticity Bound

I lit and staged this like an old formal portrait, plain backdrop, soft drapery, the sitter placed square in the middle of it. The subject is non-binary and dressed in nothing that signals either way. Portraiture has spent a few hundred years telling people what they are. This one lets the sitter answer back.
