It was a real pleasure to return to Heavenly Hair in Saxmundham earlier this month for a shoot with Senior Stylist Becky. Becky is experienced, professional and has a fine reputation, and her passion for the work is plain to see. From April she becomes Creative Director at the salon, and one look at her work shows why owner and director Janene gave her the promotion. My brief was a portfolio shoot for a competition Becky is entering, the L’Oreal Colour Trophy.
Becky is a brilliant, creative and energetic stylist. The colour and cut she created for Sophie were modern and clean, and great fun to light so the colour really popped. Working with them felt easy. The mood in the studio was professional but full of energy.
I always enjoy working with the team at Heavenly Hair, and this time, with Becky and her model Sophie, was no exception. Sophie is a superb model with real presence, and I think the photographs feel almost powerful. I wish Becky and Sophie the very best of luck.
Working with clients who are friendly, positive and passionate about what they do gives me a real buzz. My thanks to everyone at Heavenly Hair, especially Janene, for having me back, and I look forward to the next shoot with them.
