Kevin Wainwright
Portraits across three working lives
Kevin and I have worked together for years, and I have photographed him through three different working lives. Profile pictures when he was acting, including his West End years. Business portraits when he ran businesses in Beccles. And most recently, images for the travel business he has moved into.
That is rarer than it sounds. Most people need a good picture once, for one purpose. Kevin has needed a different one each time his career turned a corner, and the brief has moved with him every time.
These are from the black and white sessions. He is also one of the most straightforward people I have ever photographed, which I suspect comes partly from the acting and mostly from Kevin.
