It’s not every day an email lands from the other side of the world asking for photographs, but that’s what happened when ServiceM8, based in Australia, got in touch.
ServiceM8 makes an app that helps companies run the day to day side of their business, from managing staff to issuing invoices and taking payments. We handled everything by email, which worked well.
To show customers how the app works, they asked me to photograph a Suffolk family plumbing and heating company, Finbra, and their staff using it through a normal working day. The images were for the customer stories section of the ServiceM8 website, so the brief was to tell the story of Finbra’s day in pictures and show the app doing its job. The lads at Finbra were a great bunch and got right behind the idea, giving me the best part of a day with them. We got professional shots of the staff on site, along with the team and the company logo to fill out the story.
Finbra know how much of the working day now happens online, and keeping up with that has clearly helped the business. The day to day has been simplified and things are going well for them.
