On Sunday afternoon I was kindly given the opportunity to photograph some fantastic (and fearless!) BMX riders. Having a private piece of land available to them the lads have worked really hard together to make the dirt track a thrill seekers paradise! From young to old I was thoroughly impressed by them all, on the odd occasion finding myself watching in awe rather than taking pictures! Timing was obviously key in managing to capture some great action shots here and it took a little practise to acquaint myself with the movement of the bikes, however it wasn’t long before I was getting some great shots as the boys rip roared through the woods! I also managed to set up some strobes in order to freeze the action.
Given the opportunity I would love to go back again as it made a refreshing change to be in such a fast paced, thrill seeking environment. If you are involved in a sport and would be interested in some photos for advertising or personal usage please do get in touch.
