I recently had the opportunity to photograph a collaborative wedding dress shoot with an absolute dream team of my favourite suppliers. Martin Dobson Couture, Innov8 Hair Studio, Woodhall Manor and Bespoke Celebration Cakes all the way from Nantwich, Cheshire.
Martin is an amazing wedding dress designer, I always love working with him, he has such a creative flair and we always have a great time. This time we headed to Woodhall Manor, a splendidly beautiful 16th century Elizabethan Manor house. The exceptional grade II listed building is the perfect venue for a wedding, the staff are fantastic, and could not be more helpful.
Our beautiful models for the day were Fay, Sophie and Sheera. I really enjoyed working with all of them, it always makes for a great experience when the models and suppliers are so easy to get along with.
Hair was done be Melanie Grimwood and her team who run Innov8 Hair Studio in Saxmundham – I love working with Melanie, the day always flies by and we always nail the brief. Makeup was done by Samantha Felton from Innov8, ever the professional Samantha listened to what we were looking for and gave the models soft and romantic looks that really suited the models perfectly, allowing Martin’s incredible bespoke dresses to take centre stage while Melanie’s beautiful hairstyles stole the show.
The wedding cake was made by Fiona from Bespoke Celebration Cakes who came all the from Cheshire to be involved in the collaborative photoshoot. Fiona’s talent is creating cakes which match the bride’s dress. You can follow her story on Instagram to see more of her incredible creations.
My recent clients Emma and Joey, who had their wedding in Woodbridge not long ago, even joined me at Woodhall Manor to relive their wedding with a photograph at sunset. The perfect photo finish to a great day of collaboration.
